So, I stumbled upon some interesting stuff today. Apparently, there are horse lease agreements out there. Now, I'm not quite sure why anyone would need to lease a horse, but hey, different strokes for different folks, I guess. Anyways, I found a couple of them for you to peruse through.

Whoa, Nelly! This is quite the agreement. I mean, if you're serious about leasing a horse, this is the real deal. It covers everything from the term of the lease to liability to veterinary care. And, of course, there's a whole section on fees. Gotta love those fees. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm all for compensating someone for their time and effort, but some of these fees seem a bit steep. I mean, monthly board fee? Training and riding fee? Farrier fee? Show fee? Expense reimbursement fee? And those are just a few examples. Yikes. I guess if you're going to lease a horse, you better be prepared to spend some serious dough.

Well, well, well. What do we have here? Another horse lease agreement? I guess one just wasn't enough. This one seems a bit more succinct than the full time one, but it still covers the basics. It even has a section on insurance, which is definitely important. I mean, you wouldn't want to be responsible for any damage or injuries that occur while you're leasing the horse. That would be a nightmare. One interesting thing to note is that this agreement requires the lessee to provide the lessor with a deposit. Sounds like they don't fully trust the person leasing the horse. Can't say I blame them, though. I mean, horses are valuable creatures. You wouldn't want to just hand them over to anyone willy-nilly.
